Histotechnologists work behind the scenes to help doctors treat and diagnose patients. In the Â鶹´«Ã½ program, you’ll learn how to apply dyes and chemicals to tissue to find microscopic abnormalities.
This program is available to all students on our Chicago campus, and will be offered at our Schaumburg campus for new incoming Transfer students beginning in Fall 2025.
Complete your first three years of course work at Â鶹´«Ã½ and finish your final year at Northwestern Memorial through our exclusive partnership.
Â鶹´«Ã½ is the only bachelor’s level histotechnology program in Illinois. You’ll have in-depth training and an advantage going into the job market.
In the last five years, every histotechnology graduate has found a job six months after graduation. Clinical medical technologists earn an average of $54,180 per year (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).
