Eligibility

Applications are open to all eligible undergraduate students at Â鶹´«Ã½ who are either currently enrolled or admitted and committed to an upcoming semester.

Eligible Students Must:

  • Be an undergraduate student enrolled at Â鶹´«Ã½
  • Be a STEM major – see list of eligible majors below for reference
  • Be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or U.S. National
  • Have an academic need - see list of examples below
  • Identify with at least one of the following
    • A first-generation college student, whose parents or guardians have not earned a four-year college degree
    • Income eligible student based on U.S. Department of Education,
    • A student with a documented disability

  • Biology
  • Computer Networking
  • Computer Science
  • Criminal Justice
  • Cyber and Information Security
  • Data Analytics
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Economics
  • Histotechnology

  • Medical Technology
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Nursing
  • Political Science
  • Psychology
  • Radiation Therapy Technology
  • Radiography
  • Sociology

Examples of Academic Need:

  • Low high school grades
  • Low admission test scores
  • Predictive indicator
  • Academic proficient tests
  • Low college grades
  • High school equivalency
  • Failing grades
  • Out of the academic pipeline for 5 or more years
  • Limited English proficiency
  • Lack of educational and/or career goals
  • Lack of academic preparedness for college level course work
  • Need for academic support to raise grade(s) in required course(s)/academic major
