About Me

Claire Nelson joined the Admissions team as Transfer Admissions Counselor in June 2024. Prior to Â鶹´«Ã½, she worked for several education and women’s health non-profits, working to bring equity and access to underserved populations. Claire worked as a Student Ambassador and Freshman Admissions Intern in the admissions department at her alma mater, North Central College, for three years before graduating summa cum laude with her BA in English & Theatre Studies. Outside of education, Claire is a voracious reader (hoping to start a Â鶹´«Ã½ Admissions book club), writer, theatre-maker, social butterfly, and self-proclaimed comedienne.
